The Diagnostic Imaging service at U-Vet Werribee Animal Hospital provides the most comprehensive animal imaging service in Australia, all under one roof.
We provide imaging services to the small and large animal clinics within the hospital. This means that if your pet needs different sorts of scans to assist
diagnosis, they can all be done at U-Vet Werribee Animal Hospital.
Some of our services include radiology, fluoroscopy, ultrasound, CT, nuclear medicine and MRI. We offer reporting services to veterinary practices nation wide, and actively provide important continuing seminars within Australia and overseas.
Canine Hip and Elbow Dysplasia
Specific radiographic studies are performed of the hips and elbows for dog owners and breeders wishing to evaluate their pets for canine hip and elbow dysplasia. The radiographs are performed as part of the scheme aimed to reduce the incidence of canine hip and/or elbow dysplasia as recommended by the Australian National Kennel Club (ANKC). PennHIP radiographs can also be performed.
