Dr Aisha Young
Aisha Young, a Hawaii native, completed her veterinary degree at University of California: Davis before commencing on a path to specialization in radiology. This ultimately led to a residency program at the University of Prince Edward Island in Canada. After acquiring her certification as diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Radiology, Aisha has worked as a radiologist internationally in the US and Canada, as well as at the University of Sydney. Aisha commenced work at the Melbourne University (UVET) Werribee Animal Hospital in 2017 and works both in the teaching hospital as well as as a Lecturer in Diagnostic Imaging. Aisha enjoys teaching, particularly in small groups, and is currently in the process of completing a Graduate Certificate in Clinical Teaching. Aisha enjoys all aspects of radiology, but has a particular interest in ultrasound. She has done non-invasive research in sea turtles and monkeys, and was drawn to Australia because of its many unique native species and access to the ocean.
