Dr Bonnie Purcell
Bonnie grew up in the northern suburbs of Melbourne where she knew from a very young age that she wanted to work with animals. She completed her Bachelor of Science and then went on to attain her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine, graduating in 2015. Following graduation she undertook a rotating internship at a referral and emergency hospital in Brisbane. She continued at this practice for another year as a primary emergency clinician and presented in the emergency chapter at ANZCVS Science Week. During these years she developed a passion for emergency and internal medicine. Outside of work Bonnie enjoys exploring the Melbourne food scene, travelling, hiking and playing video games. She considers herself privileged to share some space with her cheeky cat Rhaegar.
