Dr Ashish Pathania
BSc DVM GCSAECC
Dr. Ash grew up in Melbourne and knew from an early age that he wanted to spend the rest of his life working with animals! With that passion and drive, he graduated from The University of Melbourne with a Bachelor of Science that was fast-tracked into a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree! Shortly after graduating, Dr. Ash worked in a small animal primary care clinic where he was exposed to bizarre cases and emergencies, such as snake envenomations and toxin ingestions. Dr. Ash quickly discovered his interest in emergency and critical care (ECC), and with this joined the team at Animal Referral Hospital as an ECC vet. Whilst working as an ECC vet, Dr. Ash completed additional training and studies through The University of Melbourne, where he graduated with a Graduate Certificate in Small Animal Emergency and Critical Care (GCSAECC). After a few years, Dr. Ash has worked across many different primary care clinics and multi-specialist hospitals across Australia in a variety of clinical and management roles. Dr. Ash is currently completing a Master of Veterinary Sciences at The University of Edinburgh, in the never-ending pursuit of improving patient care and self-improvement.
