Senior Lecturer in Veterinary Anaesthesia and Analgesia


Sébastien grew up in Paris, France, graduating from the University of Liege, Belgium, in 2005 with a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine. He then completed a one-year equine medicine and surgery internship at the large animal veterinary hospital of the University of Montreal, Canada. Between 2006 and 2009, Sébastien completed a three-year residency in veterinary anaesthesia rotating between the Matthew J. Ryan Veterinary Hospital for small animals in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA, and the New Bolton Center, large animal hospital, in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania, USA. Prior to joining the Faculty, Sébastien was part of the anaesthesia, emergency and critical care team at Penn’s Ryan Veterinary Hospital. During this time, he also conducted research at the New Bolton Center, George D. Windener hospital for large animals.
