Dr Susan May

Susan graduated with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science (Hons) from The University of Queensland in 2006. After graduation Susan worked in small animal general practise for a short time before moving to The University of Melbourne Veterinary Hospital to complete an internship in small animal Emergency and Critical Care. Following the internship Susan has remained on staff at the hospital as a clinical tutor in Emergency and Critical Care. She enjoys supervising students through their clinical rotations, treating emergency cases and taking care of critical patients in the ICU. Susan’s primary areas of interest are all aspects of feline critical care, nutrition and toxicology. In 2015 Susan passed the membership examination to become a member of the ANZCVSC in Emergency and Critical Care. She has also studied post graduate courses in feline medicine, respiratory physiology and toxicology. Outside of work Susan enjoys playing netball, going to the gym and doing pilates.
