Exotic Pet Team Member, special interest birds


Tina graduated from the University of Sydney in 2003 with honours after interning in the United States where she worked with dolphins, seals and marine birds, her first veterinary job was in a small animal and exotics clinic in Cairns. Tina returned to the University of Sydney to complete a rotation internship in small animal medicine and surgery, gaining a Graduate Diploma in Veterinary clinical studies. She then relocated to Melbourne where she locumed for various clinics including Warranwood Veterinary Hospital where she worked with exotic animals. Tina has been with U-Vet since 2008 and passed her membership exams for the Australian College of Veterinary Surgeons (small animal medicine). She is currently completing the Massey University Avian Medicine postgraduate certificate. Her special interests include the medicine and care of all exotics, particularly birds, rabbits and reptiles.
