Dr Courtney Dunne
Dr Courtney Dunne commenced work at U-Vet in 2015 in the General Practice and is an Avian and Unusual Pet Veterinarian. She has a membership level qualification with the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists in Avian Health and Unusual Pet Medicine and Surgery. Whilst she loves caring for dogs, her passion resides in caring for patients of the feathered and pocket pet varieties. After graduating from her veterinary studies, she worked in mixed practice and dedicated her weekly day off from full-time work to a second role at an Avian only clinic in Melbourne. Courtney participates annually in student teaching, both during student clinical rotations through the Primary Care Service and in pre-clinical training in aspects associated with bird handling and procedures. When and where possible, she will give bird related talks to other veterinary clinics or wildlife rescue organisations. In her time away from the clinic, Courtney loves spending quality time with her family, including those with fur and feathers, to make memories that will last a lifetime.
